Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic PR Planning and Execution:
    • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive PR plan, aligning closely with the company’s business roadmap and IR initiatives.
    • Translate directives from senior leadership and group heads into actionable PR strategies, ensuring seamless integration with IR plans.
    • Work closely with the marketing department head and IR team in developing quarterly release schedules and assist in creating IR materials and monitoring market trends.
    • Oversee all aspects of PR campaigns, from planning through execution
  • Collaboration and Alignment:
    • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure communication plans are aligned with business objectives.
    • Serve as a key liaison between marketing, regional teams, and agency partners to synchronize PR and company strategies.
  • Content Development and Event Management:
    • Produce and manage engaging content, including press releases and social media posts.
    • Organize and execute PR events, media briefings, and support collaborative events.
  • Media and Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key media players in strategic regions.
    • Proactively pitch stories, oversee media coverage, and manage crisis communications.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends to identify both opportunities and potential risks.
  • Performance Monitoring and Agency Management:
    • Regularly report on PR activity effectiveness, assessing the impact on brand awareness and market presence

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in PR, preferably in Forex, financial services, or fintech.
  • Familiarity with FCA, MSFA & FSA regulation and their impact on external communications.
  • Demonstrated success in innovative PR campaigns within broad, multi-channel media strategies.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a track record of managing deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional English writing and verbal skills, adept at simplifying complex topics.
  • Confidence and experience in crisis communications and issue management.
  • Proven adaptability in a fast-paced business setting.
  • Up-to-date with PR and communication trends, eager to explore new tools and tactics to maintain fresh and relevant PR activities.
